Why should you use Macro or Preset?

It does not matter if you are new or experienced in audio editing. You are wasting your valuable time if you are not using macro or preset.

Why is it so? The reason is simple: macro or preset is the most efficient way to process your audio. A macro or preset is a set of effects stacked together and preconfigured.

In Audacity, we call it Macro; in Adobe Audition, we call it Preset.

If you regularly record your voice, you will notice a common pattern. Your recording will have a similar loudness level and need the same kind of processing.

Instead of manually applying the process repeatedly, you should use a Preset. It will save you ample time in the long run. It will also prevent you from making processing mistakes.

I have made some Macro & Preset in Audacity and Adobe Audition. You can check Audacity Macros here: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/mastereditor/e/145545

And Adobe Audition Presets here: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/mastereditor/e/145105

You can also build such Macros or Presets on your own. Studying the Macros and presets is another better way to learn audio editing in detail.

Because of my years of experience in those macros & presets. If you can understand why I used an Audio effect and configured it a certain way, your audio editing capability will reach the next level.

If you have already purchased those macros or presets from me, please email me your question. I will make a detailed video explaining my decisions, which will help you learn faster.

Once you understand the basic audio effects, building a macro is easy. You should use macro or preset if you are into long-term audio editing.

There is no excuse for wasting time manually applying the same effects and configurations.
